My daughter will turn one in a few weeks so her dad and I decided to do a simple do it yourself photoshoot with her. Cake smash is fairly easy and it was the plan since she was 10 days old! Haha

We just mounted the setup at a playground nearby, good thing there are no kids playing that time. We chose the timing 9:30-10:00 am because that is the morning play time of the little one. Choosing the timing based on her schedule makes sure that she is not hungry or grumpy because of sleepiness. 100% cooperation can be achieve.

I bought some ready made banderitas from Party and Gifts along Middle Road in Bugis. They have a good selection of party favors and a bit cheaper than Spotlight. I used a white table cover as her mat. I support Mompreneurs so i got her romper from Abbeys boutique, the creator is a Singaporean mom with a cute little girl named Abbey. I bought the cake online, because there a lot of startups specially in Instagram. Thanks for #hashtags i found arshbakemyday. The price is reasonable and the taste is awesome! Plus, it is halal!

We took around 30 minutes including the setup and the shoot itself. By the way all photos are taken by just a normal hand phone, Samsung S7 edge and Iphone 6s
